Luft is a dazzling talent whose career has stretched from Broadway to the West End and Hollywood. SONGS MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME celebrates the music of her mother, Judy Garland, in a one-woman show that has had great success in the West End and USA.

Born to legendary entertainer Judy Garland and producer Sid Luft, Lorna began her career at age sixteen with her mum at the PALACE THEATRE in New York and has flourished ever since.

She starred on Broadway in PROMISES, PROMISES; Off-Broadway in SNOOPY and EXTREMITIES; in National Tours of THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, JERRY HERMAN'S BROADWAY YEARS and GUYS AND DOLLS; plus UK productions of BABES IN ARMS and WHITE CHRISTMAS (with Craig McLachlan) and recorded the 1990 studio cast recording of GIRL CRAZY.

Lorna appeared on television on THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW, TRAPPER JOHN M.D., THE NANNY, MURDER SHE WROTE performed on the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, and the TONY AWARDS with her sister, Liza Minnelli. In films she is best remembered by fans of all ages as Pink Lady Paulette Rebchuck in the camp classic Grease 2.

Her exuberant concert engagements have introduced her to the world's most prestigious venues including THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL, CARNEGIE HALL, THE LONDON PALLADIUM and ROYAL ALBERT HALL. In 2007 she earned acclaim for her appearance with singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright at his celebrated tribute concerts to Judy Garland RUFUS DOES JUDY (released on Geffen CD and DVD)

She was Co-Executive Producer of LIFE WITH JUDY GARLAND based on her memoir ME AND MY SHADOWS which in February 2001 was made into an award winning ABC mini-series starring Judy Davis, becoming the highest rating show of the season and earning 5 Emmy Awards.
